I'm Stephen, a Professional Piano Tuner in Manchester

My name is Stephen Holliday, and I am a dedicated piano tuner based in Greater Manchester. My journey into the world of piano tuning began when I was just 16 years old. I embarked on an apprenticeship at Woods Pianos and Organs in Bolton, where I developed my skills and deepened my appreciation for the craftsmanship involved in tuning and repairing these beautiful instruments. After honing my trade, I moved on to Forsyths in Manchester, furthering my experience and expertise in piano care.

In 1981, I took a significant step in my professional life by working at Hunts Pianos in Darwen. Unfortunately, when the shop closed down, it marked the end of an era, yet it also signaled the beginning of my journey as an independent tuner. Determined to continue my work, I set up my own workshop, bringing the same dedication and craftsmanship I had learned through the years.
